1. Károly, angol költő és utazási iró, szül. Westonban 1815 ápr. 29., megh. Münchenben 1870 ápr. 9. A 60-as évek elején hosszabb ideig hazánknak Királyhágón túli részében időzött. Munkái: Chamois hunting in the mountains of Bavaria and in the Tyrol (1853), Cain (1855), The new dance of death and other poems (1857), Verses (1868), Forest creatures (1861), Transylvania, its products and its people (1865), Guide tor travellers in the plain and on the mountain (1866).

2. B. (Bonerius) Ulrik, német meseiró berni barát 1324-49 közt. Edelsteine cimmel a XIV. században 100 mesét irt, amelyek rendkivül elterjedtek. Ezeket kiadta Pfeiffer a Dichtungen d. deutachen Mittelalters c. gyüjteményben (Lipcse 1844).
